Our objective is to help the men who will delete, uninstall, pause or throw away anything that stands between them and their addiction. The men who want to make a permanent, positive change in their life, but feel too anxious or ashamed to ask for outside help. The men who want to answer to their future self and overcome their compulsion.

Fighting porn by blocking triggers
Our founder was able to kick alcohol and drugs but porn was a different beast. After twenty years of exposure starting from a young age, it was clear that intentional guardrails were needed to stop the same acting out from happening again and again.
In our digital age, triggers are everywhere. ViceFree interrupts the loop of porn addiction by preventing you from engaging with triggers that make you want to relapse.
Actively tuning your algorithm to keep your feeds clean supported by monitoring software running in the background does a great deal to prevent a relapse.
That by itself is helpful. However, adding a Lock that makes every relapse attempt wait 24 hours, no matter how hard you push, is the crucial final piece.
ViceFree was built first for the founder’s own need, as you can read about in our case study. After seeing how effective (and frustrating!) it was, it was time to share it with others.
